NParks, the National Parks Board, has been tasked with keeping Singapore green and enabling our co-existence with wildlife throughout the entire existence of Singapore.

For decades, Singapore has been known to citizens and around the world as a “Garden City”. That’s changed.

There’s been a shift towards a new title. Moving far beyond a simple Garden City, NParks sought to raise awareness of their renewed “City in Nature” vision, in conjunction with the SG Green Plan 2030.

One of the first steps that needed to be done was to have all this information up to date on a refreshed website.

Unfortunately, the website was written and designed almost as if they were only expecting researchers to explore it. It was long overdue for a facelift and content overhaul, even before the shift to the City in Nature messaging.

So the website content had to be rewritten, from the ground up, in easily digestible information for the public.

The idea was to keep it focused on the big picture and link out for more information where necessary while including more infographics and photos to break up the monotony that’s almost expected from the website of a statutory board.
